Group Breaks - A card group break is a collective activity in which a group of sports card collectors come together to purchase and open a box or case of cards. Each participant typically pays a predetermined fee for the break, which covers the cost of the box or case of cards, as well as any associated expenses, such as shipping or handling.
During the break, the box or case is opened and the cards are distributed among the participants according to a predetermined system.
